Maersk Logistics has a couple of
reports that require feedback from the origins. Instead of sending the raw data
to the origins on a weekly basis for feedback, they would like them to start
pro-actively reporting “exceptions” in some kind of web based application. The
application will provide a web-based interface to view the data allows users in
the origins to mark bookings and assign exceptions to them.

The system
will be web-based Multi Tire Application and developed with using Microsoft
.NET framework. These systems will automat all the activities of CEU. It has Two
Modules 1) Shipping System, 2) E-Leave
1)
Shipping
System: When a
vessel arrives at a port or is about to arrive, there are a number of tasks
that are to be executed by OPS staff. This application will have pro forma task
lists per port per service code. The port call will be uploaded from the GSIS
system and the supervisors assign the tasks to individual users. Users work on
the task and then close the tasks upon completion, optionally entering
additional information like number of containers, telex reference and any
comments.
2)
E-Leave: e-Leave application keeps track
of vacation taken by CEU employees in a calendar year and provides necessary
reports to HR and Payroll departments. Provide a simple and central mechanism
to request and approve vacation. Provide accurate up to the date information to
employees on their vacation.

This project is One of the
recruiting processes is to examine the applicant’s physics. In medical terms we
call the applicant, a subject. During this process the applicants would be
assigned to various clinics across the nation (In US). Each subject is assigned
a medical and drug screen collection. Both these actions can take place at
different locations or at the same location. During this process, the subject
would be communicated via mails and telephone calls that have to be served in
the database with a time stamp.
This
project involves three modules. One is Master Module used to create new
information about the clinics, applicant /Contact information, Carrier information
and Contact type, etc. Second Module is Transaction Module, Used to Maintain
the Clinic lab Day-to-day Transactions. Transactions like Assigning Clinic to
applicant, what are the tests performed by that clinic, how much fees, etc. The
fees Collections and generating invoice for each applicant depends on the
health source. This information Maintained in transactions Module Reports are
generated to show the day-to-day transactions date wise, clinic wise.
